Terms of Service

Last updated: [Month Day, Year]

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LDPrep.com and your purchase of services and digital products from LDPrep (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1) No legal advice

LDPrep is a document preparation service. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website is legal advice. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney.

2) Your responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information in worksheets and during intake.
  • You are responsible for reviewing all drafts and final documents for accuracy before signing or recording.
  • You are responsible for following execution requirements (witness/notary/recording), unless you separately purchase an add-on service we provide.

3) Drafts, revisions, and approvals

Unless otherwise stated, orders include one (1) revision round based on the information you provided. Additional revision rounds may be available for an added fee. Approval and revision requests are handled via email or the methods described on the service page.

4) Delivery

  • Digital delivery: provided via email and/or your LDPrep account downloads, depending on the service.
  • Printed delivery: if you purchase printing/binding/shipping, delivery times depend on production and carrier timelines.

5) Recording and third-party fees

County recording fees and fees charged by notaries, shipping carriers, or other third parties are not included unless explicitly stated as a paid add-on. Recording services, if purchased, are performed based on the information you provide and county requirements.

6) Payments

Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. You authorize us to charge the total amount shown at checkout.

7) Refund policy

Because our services involve time and document preparation, no refunds are available once document preparation has begun (including review of your completed worksheet or drafting). If we cancel your order before work begins, you will receive a full refund.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, LDPrep’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates when changes were made.
